Pond Cleaning

We have well over 100 ponds on our books that we clean annually and some we clean every 3 months. Every pond is different so the way we clean them can be quite varied. Some need vacuuming and the filters backwashed while others need to be completely drained, jet washed and then cleaned with an aqua vac. All Filter Media is always washed with pond water as not to kill all the aerobic bacteria that the filter needs.

If the pond has to be drained we have a Koi vat 3 meters in diameter and1 meter deep. It has elasticated net that clips on the top to stop the fish jumping out. We also offer under water maintenance so if you have blocked drains and you do not wish to drain the whole pond we enter the pond in scuba gear, lift up the drain covers and clean them out.
