Pond Filtration

Many people have beautiful ponds but are unhappy with the quality of the water, this is nearly always due to the filtration not being adequate. It may have been adequate at one stage but as fish grow or stocking levels increased it starts to struggle and so does your water quality.

Also some times ponds are built and the filtration side of it (which is normally the most expensive) is skimped on to keep the price down but there is nothing worse than a beautiful pond with green or cloudy water. There are many different types of filters on the market but we only install glass fibre filters with drains to discharge the waste. You would be surprised how many filters out there don’t have drains (you wouldn’t buy a toilet you couldn’t flush would you). We also install bead filters these are top of the range with a price to match but give you excellent water quality and clarity and are very easy to clean. We also install a wide range of ultra violet sterilisers as these are a must for the dreaded green water.
